Tagging Is Back!

Just when I thought that meme is a thing of the past (the last one I did was in April), mana tau kena one from Julian pulak!

Are you happy/satisfied with your blog, with its content and look? Does your family know about your blog?
Not to say completely satisfied, but I wished I could have read through my writing a second time before posting it up (will probably do it one fine day). My blog is more or less the only way that my family and extended family gets to see pictures of my son as I am too stingy to develop the few thousands photos that I took of him since birth, so Yes!

Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog or you just consider it as a private thing?
What's there to be embarrassed about, it's not as if I am living a lie or something :P

Did blogs cause positive changes in your thoughts?
I guess so, the more I blog, the more I want to do more exciting stuff just so I can blog about it.

Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or you love to go and discover more by yourself?
Reading and replying your comments is one of the great things to do in office!

What does visitors counter mean to you? Do you care about putting it in your blog?
Hmmm... I love numbers! I just like to see the numbers to maintained at a certain level. It sorta motivates me :)

Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
I normally ask for actual photos of them if I want to know them better.

Admit. Do you think there is a real benefit for blogging?
If there's none, why else do I continue doing it?

Do you think that bloggers society is isolated from real world or interacts with events?
I bet you think otherwise with all the pictures I have taken.

Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it’s a normal thing?
It's normal, but it also kinda annoys me :P

Do you fear some political blogs and avoid them?
I used to own a social commentary blog myself, and I read more than a dozen of them daily!

Did you get shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?
Only cowards and liars go arrest bloggers!

Did you think about what will happen to your blog after you die?
My wife or my son will probably enter the last entry (a eulogy perhaps) in my blog, if they know the password that is.

What do you like to hear? Whats the song you might like to put a link to in your blog?
No song as I prefer to read other blogs without any distractions.

Too sleepy to tag anyone else, but would probably like to see Twinsmom's Chinese version of this tag though...

Jungle Scrapbook

Maybe it's the cooling weather, the animals at the Zoo Negara were seen to be less active as they would appear on Animal Planet. The weather was also detrimental to my phototaking as the sunlight was neither bright or dark enough for my flash to work properly.

Anyway, this is some snap-shots for those of you planning to bring your children for a visit...

And the laziest of the animals, they could be easily mistaken for a pile of rocks!

Finally, if you are wishing for a penguin show (like we did), you'll be hugely disappointed as there were only three little penguins on display in an aquarium-size container :(

Zoo Negara

"Let's go to the zoo, there's lots of things to do..."

I bet many of you will recall this song back when the Zoo Negara was a famous hang-out for families. We took Little Skywalker to the zoo yesterday to enjoy some fresh air and look at the animals. If it wasn't for the rain, it would be a perfect family outing.

I guess the zoo isn't much of an interesting place for Little Skywalker as he prefers to touch the animals instead of viewing them from afar. If one of the lion did not let out some occasional loud roaring, I think he would have fallen asleep half way.

The one thing that interests him the most was the "train" ride around the zoo. We jumped on it when it started to rain. He kept asking "The train leh?" throughout his walk around the zoo later.

We stayed on for 3 hours before we left about 2pm when the rain started to pour again. Well, at least the sky is blue again this morning...

Some snapshots of him monkey-ing at the zoo...

The last photo is a shot of him who was frozen suddenly when he overheard the lion roaring from afar...

PD Weekend - Part 3

Alas, the swimming pool is still the cleanest, safest and fun place for Little Skywalker to "wet himself". Surprisingly, he learnt how to perform a spin in the water by kicking his leg under water, all by himself!

The next morning, we did not go for a swim as we needed to leave early to attend a wedding lunch at Klang. However, we did wake up early in the morning to go for a stroll along the beach. Little Skywalker learned how to pick up shells that were washed ashore...

PD Weekend - Part 2

After spending some time dipping and "swimming" in the salt water with his grandpa, Little Skywalker came up to the shallow part of the coastline. We showed him how to enjoy the sensation of the moving sands under his feet. He got a kick out of it!

Then, he went on to make a stand against the tides that were coming in. He would shout and laugh every time a stronger passed him by...

Finally, he squat down at the coastline to play with the "mud", and complained "dirty!" to us later when he was done...

PD Weekend - Part 1

We went to PD last weekend after a last minute decision. Little Skywalker went with my parents earlier while I waited for J as she is working on Saturday. It was Little Skywalker's first visit since our trip last year. We spent most of our time at the pool last year as our son consider the wet sand on the beach as "dirty". He made peace with the "dirty sand" this time around and he brought his "sand castle tools" along.

Then, he went for a walk with his mother along the coastline...

Later, he even went in for a dip with his grandpa in the sea!

High-Tech Tang Lung

Unlike last year, Little Skywalker's uncle and aunty did not made it back for a Mid-Autumn festival reunion dinner last week. Our family went to our uncle's house at Klang for a homemade steam-boat dinner instead. Due to the haze, the full moon was nowhere in sight, just a smoky sky (no thanks to our neighbouring country). Since my uncle's house is a corner lot, we spent the whole night talking and chewing kuah-chii in his yard.

While we were talking, Little Skywalker was playing with his high-tech tang lung. We got it from pasar malam a week before for seven bucks. It's an intriguing little fish that has motorized moving fins. Furthermore, you can pour some soap liquid into its mouth and it will blow out bubbles! It's so much cooler than the one we got him last year.

Well, he still went back to play with his tradition tang lung later...
