Party Planning

Little Skywalker's second birthday is just around the corner. Being his fun parents, we intend to throw him a party like we did a year ago (read here, here, here and here). We are also thinking on what present to get for him. He already has so many toys that he no longer plays with. He has tonnes of cartoon DVDs that was well stocked up even before he was even born. I know, I know, you must be saying that a sibling will be the best gift for him. But, we've decided to wait till he is at least three years old.

Although it's a Chinese tradition to not celebrate their birthdays after the day itself, but we decided not to be so Chinese this time around. The official family dinner will be held next Saturday (two days later) since Little Skywalker's uncle and aunty will be coming back from North and South. The dinner will probably be held at Milwaukee, his favourite eat-out restaurant. You will definitely noticed a crowd of 20+ people dining and singing birthday songs there if you happen to drop by ~~your presents~~.

As for his present, I was thinking about getting him a nice bed, next to ours. The bed will have to be attractive enough that Little Skywalker would want to sleep in it. Hence, we will have a hard time choosing it for him, and even harder time to get him to sleep by himself!
