Yes Minister - Part 1
I have indulged in 30 years old British sitcom called "Yes Minister". I will start a new series of posts on some of the stuff I found funny but nevertheless TRUE!What a Prime Minister's job entails:
- there's lots of things that people wants you to do...
- and there are lots of things that you should do...
- and then there's also a number of things you can do...
- but... there's really very few things that you have to do
National Defense Policy
A: What do you think is the purpose of our national defense policy?
B: To defend our country of course!
A: No! It is to make people believe that our country is defended...
B: You mean our enemies?
A: No! Not our enemies... but our own citizens!
